Acadia National Park is a jewel in the northeast. In late spring, the crowds are light and the coastline is teeming with excitement! It is in this national park that we will spend 3-days as a small group. You’ll behold all the iconic beauty that is Acadia and Bar Harbor, Maine. Join us for a very special experience in and around Maine’s beautiful coast and Acadia National Park.
INCLUDED: In–field DSLR skill photography sessions with hands-on instruction, artistic composition direction, group class sessions on processing, image critiques, and 1 host dinner.
For every Photo Art Pavilion workshop, we scout our locations prior to every session to ensure that our photo workshops are successful and without debris or unexpected closures. We begin early each day, chase the light to get you to the best location under optimum conditions. Instructors Joanne Henig and Tony Graziano are professional photographers and educators dedicated to your learning, fun, and adventure.
NOT INCLUDED: Airfare, transportation, lodging, and non-host meals. Discounted lodging has been established in Bar Harbor, Maine. Carpool with ride sharing is used to get to photography locations.
FITNESS LEVEL: MODERATE
You must be able to carry your own equipment to participate. Trails are considered easy, moderate, and difficult.
In-field photography sessions are time devoted to discussion and instruction regarding lighting, composition, long exposure, and nature photography techniques as well as evaluation and recommendations for improvement. We have experience photographing in this location, and we pride ourselves on getting you to the right spot at the right time.

Multi-day guided photography workshop, daily on-property hot breakfast, and pre-selected location for our host dinner. We recommend that you bring your own water and snacks for your room and for in-field shooting.
NOT INCLUDED: Airfare, transportation, lodging, and meals. Discounted lodging has been established in Bar Harbor, Maine. Carpool with ride sharing is used to get to photography locations. Please notify your tour leaders if you wish to establish airport ride-share or room-share with another participant. Wish we could, but we cannot guarantee good weather

THURSDAY, MAY 19
Sunrise field session followed by breakfast break.
Image review and composition class.
Sunset field session.
FRIDAY, MAY 20
Sunrise field session followed by breakfast break.
Explore and photograph details of Bar Harbor.
Sunset field session.
SATURDAY, MAY 21
Sunrise field session followed by breakfast break.
Workshop concludes at 11:00am
While meals are not included in the workshop fee, we do like to dine as a group.
This way, we can talk about the day, address any questions, and have some fun together!
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made 121+ days prior to workshop are refunded less $150 processing fee.
Cancellations made between 120-91 days are refunded 50% of workshop.
Cancellations made less than 90-days from workshop are non-refundable.
Refunds will not be given for credits or transfers from any other photo workshop.

Cancellation Policy due to participant:
Should you need to cancel 45 – 60 days before the workshop begins,
25% of your tour fee will be refundable to you.
Should you need to cancel less than 45 days before the workshop begins,
none of your tour fees will be refundable to you.
Refunds will not be given for credits or transfers from any other photo workshop.
Cancellation Policy due to tour leader:
Should the tour leader need to cancel at any time before the workshop begins, ALL our fees will be refundable to ALL participants.
