The center of this photography tour will be Lititz, Pennsylvania.  Lititz is known for its history. It was founded in 1756. Lititz was recently voted the “Coolest Small Town in America”.

We’ll do some exploring in and around this charming little town checking out historic covered bridges, Amish country, steam locomotives, and a wildlife preserve.

Photography Tours and Workshops

A Unique Destination With A Variety Of Photographic Opportunities

We found classic old world charm right in the heart of Pennsylvania that offers a great variety of photographic subjects. Whether it be street and architectural, landscapes, or even wildlife, this photography tour has it covered.

The Pennsylvania Amish of Lancaster County are America’s oldest Amish settlement. Step back in time and enjoy a slower, more peaceful pace – one where the horse & buggy remains a primary form of transportation, and where windmills dot the landscape, providing power harnessed from nature.

Our group will checkout the The Strasburg Rail Road, an authentic steam train. Take a 45 minute ride on the train, if you so choose (optional).

Lastly we’ll get do a gentle hike in search of waterfowl, grassland nesting birds, and wetland dependent species within the Middle Creek Preserve .

This workshop will be led by Joanne Henig and Jessica Lempin, nature photographers and educators. Joanne and Jessica look forward to exploring this exciting adventure with you.
