What happens when a photograph moves beyond a single frozen moment?
Photo Art Pavilion invites photographers, art collectors, creatives, and curious viewers everywhere to join us for the live virtual reception of The Fourth Dimension: The Art of Time and Motion on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 7:00 PM Eastern.
This free online art event celebrates the imaginative possibilities of fine art photography while bringing artists and art lovers together for an engaging evening of visual storytelling, conversation, and creative connection.
Experience a Virtual Photography Exhibition From Home
The Fourth Dimension is a juried virtual photography exhibition exploring time, movement, memory, transformation, space, and perception.
Featuring 50 compelling photographs by 33 artists representing 15 states and two countries, the exhibition offers a fascinating look at how contemporary photographers interpret the world around us. Each selected photograph invites viewers to pause, look more closely, and consider what may exist beyond the immediately visible.
Some images capture movement through long-exposure photography, motion blur, or intentional camera movement. Others explore memory, identity, transformation, and the emotional passage of time. Together, the selected works create a thought-provoking journey through the familiar, the unexpected, and the wonderfully mysterious.
Meet the Artists Behind the Photographs
A photograph can speak for itself—but hearing directly from the artist can open an entirely new way of experiencing the image.
During our live virtual reception, guests will have an opportunity to discover the ideas, techniques, and personal stories behind selected works. Participating photographers will be invited to join the conversation and share insight into their creative processes.
Whether you are a practicing photographer, an emerging artist, an experienced art collector, or someone who simply enjoys discovering meaningful photography, this reception offers an opportunity to connect with the people behind the art.
The evening will be hosted by Photo Art Pavilion co-founders Joanne Henig and Jessica Lempin. Joanne will also lead a welcoming side conversation in the chat, giving attendees a place to respond to the artwork, ask questions, and connect throughout the presentation.
Celebrating Today’s Fine Art Photographers
The selection process for this juried photography exhibition was both inspiring and incredibly challenging. Hundreds of images were submitted, but only 50 could be chosen.
Every selected photograph demonstrated a distinctive vision, thoughtful execution, and a compelling interpretation of the exhibition’s theme. These artists encouraged us to see time and motion differently—and their work deserves to be seen and celebrated.
This reception is more than a presentation of beautiful photography. It is a celebration of the courage required to create, submit, and share personal artwork with the world. It is also a reminder that art becomes even more meaningful when it brings people together.
Everyone Is Welcome—and Admission Is Free
One of the joys of a virtual art exhibition is that you can attend from wherever you are. Settle into your favorite chair, pour yourself something enjoyable, and join us for an inspiring evening without traveling to a physical gallery.
You do not need to be a professional photographer or an established collector to participate. Our live virtual reception is friendly, accessible, and open to everyone. Come for the photography, stay for the stories, and enjoy meeting a creative community that believes art should be shared.
