Jessica Lempin has turned a childhood fascination into a passionate and dedicated career. Jessica began processing film and prints for the general public in her late teens. Seeing such photographic artistry in print opened Jessica up to expanding her own knowledge, thus leading her to major in photography during her college years.
In college, Jessica was taught an in-depth study of professional photographic practices, understanding the art form, and including film applications and processing techniques by hand. Later in her career, Jessica co-founded a regional company, Long Island Photo Gallery, located on Long Island in New York state. There she helped to develop and develop an online gallery website to support online art sales. Jessica also curated a commercial retail art space, worked directly with art buyers and art collectors, ran photography exhibits, installed art exhibits and other bodies of photography, and worked directly with gallery artists to help them develop a robust portfolio. Plus many other business duties for the gallery. These steps helped her to also Co-Found Photo Art Pavilion, a larger company to help art photographers across the USA and beyond.
Jessica also leads photography workshops and excursions, conducts virtual and in-person photography exhibits, and teaches Adobe Lightroom to photographers of all calibers.
As a fellow art photographer, Jessica doesn’t like to limit herself or her style to just one type of photographic process. She is constantly inspired by grand scenic vistas, the silkiness of long exposure, the crisp lines, and the character of architecture and buildings. Plus, the amazing world of abstract photography.
Jessica is a passionate art photographer who overall enjoys creating and exploring the land before her while providing beautiful scenes for others to enjoy.
