I have been working in Photography for many years and have a Master’s in Fine Art Photography from the University of Cincinnati. I have taught Art, Graphic Design, and Photography at the university level for thirty years. My work is in corporate and private collections and has been published and exhibited nationally and Internationally. I would like to share my work and my vision with a larger audience so they may come to see and experience another perspective on life.
I look for the irony and beauty around me and focus on the patterns in everyday life in nature, people, animals, landscapes, seascapes, or cityscapes. I am keenly aware of how an image changes by simply shifting my angle of view and look for moments that create a unique perspective. The notion of realism and capturing time, a unique photographic feature of the camera as a tool, are ever present as I approach my subject. Cartier-Bresson states it well:
"To take photographs means to recognize – simultaneously and within the fraction of a second – both the fact itself and the rigorous organization of visually perceived forms that give it meaning. It is putting one’s eye and one’s heart on the same axis". Henri Cartier-Bresson, Aperture, 1976. Please visit my website at
