Since my teens I have been drawn to photography as an expression of art. Something so simple in concept, yet endlessly provoking, intrigued me. Cutting my teeth on 35mm film in the 70s, and working with the infamous Kodachrome 25 gave me a better understanding of what made a photograph emotional and memorable. This love has now become a lifelong study.
Now in retirement, I’ve set out to personally define what it is in a still image that captures ones attention, produces an emotional response, or sets a mood.
Interests including coastal lifestyle, tranquility in a country landscape, and period automotive art make up the greater part of my collection.
I humbly invite you to view my work, hoping that my images will inspire a thought, provoke an emotion, or simply a smile as it does for me.
