Location: The Great Salt Lake, Utah

Description: Only a few minutes passed, but it felt like time stopped. Everything, the quiet lake, the cold air, the big rock in front of me, seemed to hold still while the sky performed this incredible show. I had never seen the Great Salt Lake look like this before, and I haven’t seen it again since. It was one of those rare moments where nature gives you something unforgettable, and you’re lucky enough to be there at exactly the right time. Capturing that shot felt like a gift. A moment that took my breath away… and will stay with me forever. The lake lies in parts of five counties in Utah USA.: Box Elder, Davis, Tooele, Weber, and Salt Lake. Salt Lake City Utah and its suburbs are located to the south-east and east of the lake, between the lake and the Wasatch Mountains, but land around the north and west shores is almost uninhabited. The Bonneville Salt Flats are to the west, and the Oquirrh and Stansbury Mountains rise to the south. The Great Salt Lake is fed by three major rivers and several minor streams. The three major rivers are each fed directly or indirectly from the Uinta Mountain range in northeastern Utah.
