Description: Looking through my viewfinder I search, however intuitively, for my palette of color and light and shapes and rhythm...and when I find it, I adjust my settings take the photo. Sometimes it becomes the stARTing point for a series of changes made with layers to create my image...such as this is, created during my collaboration that became the book, Parallel Perspectives: The Brush/Lens Collaboration. Chapter 5 is devoted to this innovative process I call photo-liminalism that is individualized with each created image... Many responses to this image is that it reminds people of the boat in Monet's pond in Giverny. Knowing that my vision has been inspired/influenced by the Impressionists, I am not surprised.
