Location: Belmont Lake State Park, Babylon, New York
Description: Photographed with chromes and traditionally wet-darkroom printed, now digitally printed. The reflected colors of the autumn leaves made me think of of Monet's pond filled with waterlilies...even though I hadn't yet visited Giverny and my Impressionist tendencies were apparent to the press during an interview when I was told that this photograph reminded them of Monet.
