Date: January, 2018
Location: Pont Alexandre III, Paris, France
Description: The river Seine has flooded in central Paris 13 times since 1658, although 8 of those times have occurred since 1910, the last two in 2016 and 2018. Modern flood prevention means that it is usually limited to the banks of. the river and not the streets of the city, which happened in 1910. It adds its own, strange beauty to Paris.
