Description: Garlic Squared on White is part of my Garlicscapes Collection Garlicscapes is a collection of photographs that has taken something very ordinary, garlic and elevated it to a thing of beauty. It combines two of my passions, gardening and photography. After planting my first garlic crop in 2018 I was unexpectedly rewarded with the beautifully curvy garlic scapes. They became wonderful subjects to photographs. Garlic Squared was the first bunch of garlic bulbs that were harvested. Shooting them in early morning or late afternoon light accentuated their graceful swirls and curves, creating something sensuous from the mundane. Garlicscapes, an award winning collection, was recently published in "Black and White Magazine" and "Click"magazine.
