Location: Ta Prohm, Cambodia

Description: We encountered this band of disabled musicians playing traditional Cambodian music near the south entrance to Ta Prohm temple outside Siem Reap. The band was selling its CDs to earn a living, rather than becoming beggars in the streets. Despite their injuries, these men remain productive and creative in their lives. The landmines that injured these men are left over from the days of dictator Pol Pot's civil war against the Cambodian people.
