Description: (4x5 Film) This image is from a series I shot of an abandoned service station between Airdrie and Crossfield, Alberta. It is an image of texture and decay. The building has long since been torn down and I am pleased that I was able to get in beforehand. I was attracted to the simplicity of this composition and the detail in the original print captures everything down to the slots in the screws holding the switch face plates on the wall.
