On this particular day, dramatic clouds swept across the horizon while the evening light painted the landscape in gold and blue. As I stood along the rocky shoreline, I was reminded why the Uintas are celebrated for their breathtaking beauty and endless opportunities for adventure. The scene seemed almost too perfect to be real, with the calm lake resting beneath a sky alive with motion and color. Wanting to preserve more than just a photograph, I transformed this image into an oil painting.
