Description: This old barn had significance to me. The barn signified the beginning of the long bus route everyday when I was in school all those years ago. It also meant we were almost home once the last group of kids had been dropped off right in front of this old barn. There was a little weathered shanty that was home to 6 hard working kids. Quite frankly, that barn does not differ vastly from how it looked back then. This barn still stands along the highway approaching a small berg name Bunch, Iowa in rural Davis County, Iowa.
