SELECTED JUROR: RICH LABELLA
Rich LaBella is an award–winning photographer with over 30 years of experience as a nature and wildlife photographer. His work has been featured in galleries, publications, and in exhibits. He has also won numerous awards for his photography, with the Universe of Colour Photography International Photo Contests, Long Island Photo Gallery – New York, New York Juried Exhibits (both in-person and online exhibits), Boat-US Magazine Photo Contest, and with the Islip Arts Council. Plus Rich is a member and was a past-president of the Nature and Wildlife Photographers of Long Island (NWPL)
Rich LaBella’s photography is well known for its vivid and captivating imagery. He is able to capture the beauty of nature and wildlife in a way that is both informative and captivating. Rich is also an advocate of bringing awareness of that often-overlooked beauty in nature and wildlife behavior through his work. He prefers dynamic images to static “portraits” and tries to bring a better appreciation & understanding of our world through showing the interaction of nature, creatures, objects, and places that we might not notice around us.
Overall Rich LaBella’s art photography has made a lasting impact with his nature and wildlife photography and we’re thrilled to have him be a part of Photo Art Pavilion’s virtual exhibit – Into The Wilderness.
