This workshop will take you well beyond basic iPhone snapshots and provide skills needed to create art quality photographs that you will be proud to share and display.
The “iCamera” is designed to make it simple for a novice to take snapshots and, at the same time, complex enough to achieve an enthusiast’s artistic vision. To progress from taking snapshots to taking advantage of the iCameras full creative potential, requires a deeper understanding of the device’s capabilities, strengths and weaknesses. Combined with a working knowledge of key photographic techniques and you are well on your way to a rewarding photography experience. This workshop will equip you with these skills.
To achieve the workshop objectives, your workshop leaders will guide you through topics that include camera setup, using the camera app, guidelines for taking pictures as well as fundamental photographic techniques and basic photo editing tips. You will learn in both a classroom setting and then move outdoors to reinforce learnings with personalized instruction in an inspiring natural setting.

- iPhone camera settings – what they do and which to set and forget
- iPhone camera app – icons, controls, functions, mode selection, hidden features
- Image taking tips – best practices, setting focus and exposure, camera options
- Photographic technique – seeing, motion, depth of field, light, composition, perspective, framing, layers, balance, post processing
- In-Field Instruction – personal attention as you explore and practice your new iPhone photography skills. Certified guide Linda Lombardo will give a short talk about connecting with nature through the practice of Forest Therapy.

Instructors ANTHONY GRAZIANO and JOANNE HENIG are professional photographers and educators dedicated to your learning, fun, and adventure.
Joanne Henig is an award-winning fine art nature photographer and educator who has traveled the world professionally for nearly 30 years. Joanne freely shares her artistic visual art experiences and knowledge with each and every Photo Art Pavilion workshop guest. Throughout the workshops, Joanne teaches photographic skills to all levels of photographer in a fun yet educational style.
Anthony Graziano is an award-winning fine art photographer, author, and educator who has captured the beauty of the natural world through his photography for more than 30 years. As a workshop leader, he freely shares his knowledge. Tony brings his unique skillset, adventure, and fun spirit into the field to share with Photo Art Pavilion workshop guests.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Due to participant:
Should you need to cancel 45 – 60 days before the workshop begins,
25% of your workshop fee will be refundable to you. Should you need to cancel less than 45 days before the workshop begins,
none of your workshop fees will be refundable to you. Refunds will not be given for credits or transfers from any other photo workshop.
Due to tour leader: Should the tour leader need to cancel at any time before the workshop begins, ALL fees will be refundable to ALL participants.
